Ingredients:
• Stale white bread or rolls (if we dont have stale loaf or a few rolls we can put for a few minutes to put it to the heated up oven)
• 2-3 eggs
• half a packet of butter
• can of a condensed milk
• 18% cream
• handful of cardamom pounded in the mortar
• glass of milk
• glass of sugar
• half a teaspoon of salt
• dried fruits (raisins, figs)
• walnuts
• 2-3 bananas
• apricots (can be and the canned ones)
Preparation:
We whip the eggs with a half of the sugar, we add the condensed milk, cream, and salt. We simmer the milk for a ten of fifteen minutes with the remaining sugar and cardamom in order to release the aroma. After cooling it down we mix it up with the whipped eggs. We cover the heat resistant dish with butter. In the dish we closely spread the dry bred with butter, dried fruits and apricots cut into slices. We pour everything over with the egg mixture and we are put it away for about an hour. It is important that bread at the beginning is entirely covered with liquid. After making sure (it is possible to press) that the mass is uniformly saturated and is without pellets, we decorate the top with bananas, figs, apricots, we sprinkle it lightly with the sugar, it is also possible to wipe a little bit of cold butter on the thick grater. We bake it for half an hour or longer (depending on the depth of the dish), in 180-200 Celsius degrees. We serve it with an aromatic earl grey or with tea with milk.
