EAT GLOBALLY AND WELL

In the Westin Warsaw you can “eat well”. The new menu, prepared by Chef Janusz Korzyńskiego and his deputy Michał Trukawka, is now full of healthy, nutritious foods such as spinach, avocado, mango, tuna and pine nuts. If one of the guests has doubts about the amount of nutrients they contain, he can use the application Digimarc® Discover, which scans an image on the menu and the number of calories and the origin of the products will no longer be unknown. Westin Warsaw, one of the first in the world, is offering juices and cocktails from The Juicery.

The reason for these changes is a worldwide campaign by Westin hotel chain “Well-being Movement” in which next step is “Eat Well”. The movement is designed to inspire the hotel guests to a healthy and balanced nutrition. Over the well-being and visitors’ health work dietitian Ashley Koff, meditation expert Andy Puddicombe, media mogul Arianna Huffington and SuperChefs team that is a team of doctors, dentists and chefs. Experts didn’t forget about the youngest guests of the hotel and created a “Healthy Kids Menu Westin”.

Complementary to the changes on the menu is the renovation of the restaurant’s interior by London architect Anita Rosato, which uses almost exclusively natural materials such as wood and stone.
