The new Chanel fragrance is dedicated to her. USTA Magazine had to pleasure to participate in the premiere of Chanel Gabrielle.

This is the first fragrance of Chanel fashion house in 15 years. Creating the scent took 3 years and designing the delicate, shining bottle took yet another 2! The composition was created by Olivier Polge – a famous perfumer, who’s the nose behind other Chanel perfumes, such as Allure or Coco.

He wanted to create a fragrance for the 21st century and the modern women. He wanted to satisfy contemporary rebels, who want to follow their own paths and know what they want. This radiant fragrance is composed of four luminous points – four white flowers: orange blossom, ylang-ylang, jasmine, and Grasse tuberose. It is, as Olivier Polge says himself, an imaginary white flower, the only one that can embody the uninhibited feminity of Gabrielle Chanel herself.

Apart from the main tones, we will find a touch of tangerine, grapefruit, blackcurrant, sandalwood, and musk? White flowers and citruses definitely dominate in this composition, which will be welcomed by all lovers of strong and intense scents. This fragrance is “an abstract floral scent, very different from the classic perfumes by Coco Chanel, such as the famous Chanel no. 5. It is intense, deep, very floral, but yet not a niche fragrance.” The promotional video stars Kristen Steward.
