HERE WE ARE! USTA FOR THE THIRD TIME

But in the first place we take you to the water. This edition of the magazine is sacrificed to the topic of fish that we can find in Polish lakes and rivers described by fish enthusiasts: Karol Zacharczuk, Olin Gutowski (1000 fishing rods) and Jakub Pieniążek (Fish Lovers), who describes Lusitanian toadfish, monkfish, triggerfish and cutlassfish as ugly freaks. These freaks are also to the interest of the Belgian chef Filip Claeys who enjoys serving these unloved species in his restaurant. In Polish reality we have fish specialist Agata Pospieszyńska who not only is a great photographer but also a fantastic cook. She is a granddaughter of Katarzyna Pospieszyńska – a famous author of cookbooks. Magdalena Kasprzyk-Chevriaux describes in our magazine another author, Ali Baba, who published his famous cookbook Gastronomie Pratique and turns out to be of the Polish origin. Monika Brodka held a party together with USTA to tell us about food issues in her songs and party planning strategies and familiarizes us with her artistice creation. We also had a pleasure to host Alicia Rios, Spanish artist and a friend of Pedro Almodóvar, who uses food as an equipment in her artistic work. Especially for us she created a food representation of Warsaw and told us about the origins of word “foodie”. And our foodie and a professor at the same time from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk Anna Królikiewicz tells us about futuristic banquets based on sensory experience. To delight all senses we also recommend a photography session named “Heat” prepared by a very talented photographer Agata Wrońska. Finally, to chill ourselves again we take a trip with Ania and Michał Rudniccy to the northern Sweden to enjoy blueberries and visit all the finest restaurants and attractions in Stockholm.
