We want to celebrate spring and therefore we invite you to the Festival of Flowers. Encouraged by the success of last year’s Apples and Cider Festival, which was organized on the Mysia Street at the end of September 2014, this time we picked flowers as a theme of our event. We want to restore the knowledge of their cultivation, names and customs. We want to turn Mysia street into a fragrant garden and encourage our guests to take a piece if it to their homes.
Together with the Concept Store Mysia 3, Warsaw’s Warsztat Woni and Poznan’s Kwiaty & MIUT will lay bouquets, watch bursting cherry and apple buds, getting ready for spring in our gardens, houses, terraces and balconies. On day 3 on Mysia 3 you will find everything you will need to welcome spring in your homes. You can buy beautiful flower pots (but also cups, bowls, plates) made by the most interesting artists of modern ceramics. There will be also fertilizers, rakes, watering cans and soil. And for all those who like to surround themselves with flowers not only at home and in a garden, there will be stands with clothes and cosmetics inspired by flowers.
Ceramics is very useful to expose flowers. Flower pots, vases, bowls, etc. In Poland there is a new wave of original, handmade ceramics. It is unique and beautiful. We admire it and buy it straight from the hands of its creators. We want to share this fascination with others.
In the program: Marta Gessler with Warsztat Woni will talk about combining cuisine and flowers, and Łukasz Marcinkiewicz and Radosław Berent from Poznan’s florist Kwiaty&Miut will show how to transplant flowers and will lead floral workshops.
In a break from shopping, we will be able to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and snacks in spring flavors. In the evening, we invite all fans of culinary to a unique floral dinner prepared by Marysia Przybyszewska who worked in the best restaurant in the world: Nomi in Copenhagen.
