The last few weeks there was a lot of work in different areas, “arrangement” of what we started and a “to do” list on the last month before the final. Tedious improving of each element, logistics between actions of almost eighty people, are not necessarily topics that are worth mentioning here. But I would like to write about is, that last weeks were full of important moments for the Food Think Tank. We opened an exhibition in the gallery Dizajn BWA and guided guests telling them about “Earth and Water”. It was also important for us, because we heard about the concepts implemented by other members of the FTT outside of our online forum. In addition, we launched our website, which is still tested. We closed on creating press materials about “Earth and Water” and released a guide to the project by Ewelina Turkot. We also printed the first edition of the comic book “Food Think Tank what is it all about?” by Dagmara Jagodzińska. We also laid the foundations for international cooperation, in which we will pursue our next project “Forest Installation”. Coming back to the point the kitchen 60% of the dishes are tested. We can already see the first spring shoots and young leaves that inspire our chefs. Liquors and centuryold eggs are being prepared. All dishes and utensils have been burned and are waiting safely for the dinner. Ice cream machine is designed and ready for action. During the day, Joanna Nowara creates one table top the glass is burned by day and its resting by night. We have a plan for the underground restaurant in Milejowe Pole, made by architect Barbara Świerc, we dug foundations and now we are putting the roof! We are working now on how to provide fire, heat and smoke in the field kitchen. Tomasz Hartman divided the tasks. The deadline will be April 22. It’s time to get used to the thought that we have only two weeks … it’s not easy.
