In July Poland assumed the Presidency of the Council of Baltic Sea States. It is a good excuse to promote the modern Polish cuisine in the region. On this occasion we prepared the book On Polish Sea Fish and a series of dinners under the slogan Eat Poland presenting what is the best and most interesting in today’s Polish cooking. For the preparation of the menu we asked chefs Witek Iwański and Michał Gniłka. I have often written about their talent. They have prepared menus based on typical Polish products: mushrooms, bread, cheese, cereal, fish. We have also invited to cooperate Radosław Berent and Łukasz Marcinkowski from Poznań florist Kwiaty&Miut. They will be responsible for setting up the table, and we know that in addition to bouquets, for which they are famous, they created together with the Studio Spiek Ceramiczny and the company Boleslawiec a special line of ceramics referring to a maritime theme. We hope that in such a unique setting created specifically for each city the Polish contemporary cuisine will look perfectly.
The project Eat Poland is implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
