Fern FLower Totem, standing in the garden, resembles an exotic flower. It blends in with nature, as if it grew naturally among the leaves. On closer inspection, it reveals its nature as the work of human hands. Standing in front of the entrance to the house, Fern Flower Totem welcomes household members and guests. It can be used in the garden as a drinker or feeder for birds and pollinators. Set in the house, it can complement any interior with color, thanks to a variety of color leaves. It can explode with a joyful ferocity of colors, or in subdued shades fit discreetly into the character of the room.
Fern Flower lamps will bring light and color to your interior. They will complement them with color. Playful and candy-colored, they can also be subdued in shades. The lamps were created in two basic shade sizes, but the nature of the lamps reveals that the elements can be combined with each other in a wide variety of ways, giving the possibility to fit into many interiors.
All objects of the Fern Flower collection are created from metal, aluminum or steel elements formed by spinning and subjected to powder-coat coloring. Their regular, centric form brings to mind machine-made mass production. However, it is different. In the spinning process, each piece is individually molded in an artisanal process.
DINGFLUX is a design studio founded by Asia Piaścik. Between 2003 and 2008, the designer studied Industrial Design at the design faculty of the German Universität der Künste in Berlin, with a specialization in product design. After her studies, she founded the DINGFLUX studio in Warsaw. The designer’s field of interest lies primarily in designing an object, with a particular focus on the relationship that is generated between the product and its potential user.
