Striped and Stylish
The concept behind Warsaw Tiger is a culinary and aesthetic kaleidoscope unlike anything Poland has seen before. The Tiger has one paw in Warsaw and the other in Asia; it pairs pyzy with kimchi and chicken broth with miso—and never asks, “Is this appropriate?”—because at the Tiger, the only thing that’s appropriate is to have a good time and eat even better.
This character is perfectly highlighted by the interior—a spectacular space that blends Polish modernism with a touch of retro-Oriental flair and the style of old-world elegance. NOKE Architects is responsible for the venue’s design and its integration into the urban fabric, while Ola Niepsuj—one of Warsaw’s most distinctive contemporary illustrators—handled the graphic design: the logo, brand book, and original prints for the carpets and upholstery.
Such creative, collaborative partnerships are deeply rooted in Tygrys’s DNA. The Polish fashion brand MMC Studio is responsible for the bold uniform design, while the lighting design was created by aureola.studio. The tables, bar stools, and built-in seating were crafted by NAP; the Tygrys kitchen was designed by Stalgast; and the communication concept and brand language are a project by the Pierwszy Serwis agency.

The People Who Awoke the Tiger
Beata Gawęda—a restaurateur and wine importer, creator of projects such as Kieliszki na Próżnej (Bib Gourmand), the GRONO wine bar, and the import company Vini e Affini—and Paweł Demianiuk, a sommelier and manager who co-founded Kieliszki with Beata and has been at its helm ever since. At Tygrys, Paweł is in charge of the dining room and satisfying guests’ cravings, while renowned chef Sebastian Wełpa has taken the reins on the culinary side. Tygrys is part of the Ferment Group, which also includes Rozbrat20 (1* Michelin), Le Braci (Bib Gourmand), Butchery&Wine, and Koneser Grill (Bib Gourmand)—meaning that Tygrys fits seamlessly into the fabric of Warsaw’s culinary scene.
Tygrys’ Culinary Style
The menu at Warsaw’s Tygrys offers a contemporary interpretation of Polish and Warsaw culinary traditions, infused with Far Eastern sensibilities. It’s a cuisine that treats local classics with respect but isn’t afraid to reinterpret them, blend them, and season them boldly. The menu is accompanied by an equally daring wine, cocktail, and mocktail list that seamlessly blends Western and Eastern influences, ingredients, and inspirations.

A Place Full of Energy, Humor, and Edge
Constitution Square is a symbol of Warsaw—a space of modernist elegance and everyday urban life unfolding against a monumental backdrop. The tiger has settled comfortably into the square, as if on a living room couch, and from the very first days, it seems to belong there naturally!
