On 7th September in Mila Club in Jadwisin we will celebrate Fish Festival, a huge cooking party with a presentation of cooking skills of chefs. Various restaurants such as Aruana from Narvil hotel, Złoty Lin from Serock, Kapitańska from Mila Club, Café Zielony Niedźwiedź from Warsaw and Platter from Intercontinental hotel will present their fish specialities. In between food testing there will be an opportunity to get information on fish cuisine and talk to the ichthyologist. Children can participate in educational cooking workshops organised by Slow Food Convivium Warszawa.
For a group of gourmets there will be served dinner by Aleksander Baron, a chef from Solec 44 restaurant, on the nearby island Euzebia.
If you need to clear up any issues concerning the topic of fish you can find the answers in a unique publication “Ryba w Zalewie, czyli ryby mistrzów polskiej kuchni” that will be published in October. Polish top chefs and famous bloggers such as Wojciech Amaro, Magda Gessler, Agnieszka i Marcin Kręgliccy, Karol Okrasa, Agata Wojda, Eliza Mórawska, Aleksander Baron or Witek Iwański will share their recipes (over 40 positions) with readers. The book is a part of “Ryba w Zalewie” project which owes his humoristic name to marinated fish, a speciality of housewives living by Zalew Zegrzyński (zalew can mean both bay or sauce, added by translator). And that is also where the culmination of the project will take place.
